Yoga is a great way to practice mindfulness and get in touch with your body and breathing. It’s a practice for everyone, at any stage of their lives. This yoga class is suitable for beginners to intermediate practitioners. Build up your stamina and confidence, and even learn to stand on your hands! Stability and personal dynamics through movement, breath and the singing of sacred sanskrit chants.
This class will introduce you to these Yoga fundamentals
Asana: Posture and alignment .
Pranayam: Breath control techniques.
Tibetan Rites: 6 easy postures which can be practiced at home.
Meditation: Simple meditation techniques which can also be practiced at home.
Kirtan: Call and response method of devotional singing/chanting.
Zac has been a practitioner of Yoga since 1983. He has taught in Sydney, Byron Bay and Sri Lanka. He studied Opera at the NSW Conservatorium and worked professionally as an actor for many years. He loves coffee.
