Wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes. This is a special super social, extended Laneway Class.
In this extended special Laneway event you will spend an afternoon meeting new people, racing around Surry Hills finding clues, completing challenges and seeing things you haven’t seen before! Think urban adventure meets amazing race meets treasure hunt. Follow the clues, the team with the most points achieved wins! Whether you are an inner city hipster, new to town, a singleton, or a couple of friends join in and we’ll make up a team for you if you need one. This class will open your eyes to this vibrant neighborhood and reinvigorate your love of Sydney.
We will meet and start the hunt at (the little patch of grass between Surry Hills Library and Ampersand on the corner of Collins Street and Crown)
The Surry Hills Scavenger Hunt will have you racing around completing madcap tasks and hunting for clues. Working in teams of three-to-five, hunters will be given a set of instructions and a time limit of two hours. The instructions include a list of items to find and activities to complete. Teams will meet back at the designated finishing spot while the scores are tallied (refreshments will be available but are not included in your ticket price). The team with the highest score will be crowned the winners. Solo hunters are welcome to come along and be assigned to a random team.
