This class will teach you to break down the form guide and understand what all the numbers on the page mean, the different types of bets that you can place and all the gear that racehorses wear. This will help you understand all the factors that influence the chances of each horse in a race. With tickets to the 2014 Melbourne Cup now officially available and the Spring Carnival just around the corner, coming along to this information session will let you give your friends a few tips that actually have some substance!

Kylie Johnson is a racing enthusiast with a real passion for the sport of kings. She picked her first Melbourne Cup Trifecta at the tender age of 8 years old. Growing up, all Kylie wanted to do was to be either a jockey or a horse trainer – very unusual for a child from a family with no racing blood at all!
Over the years, Kylie’s passion has grown and racing runs through her veins. She’s finally fulfilled her dream of owning a racehorse and she runs a small club where she shares her expertise in picking out racing winners.
