We’re teaching grown-ups how to get the most out of making art with kids. You’ll learn some basic artistic techniques, get past the silly ‘but I don’t know how to draw’ worries, and explore ways to use visual arts to make wonderful connections with the small people around you.
We’ll break the class down into tow main parts.
Techniques: we’ll have a go at crayon resist, watercolour, drawing, collage and stamping.
Ideas: we’ll learn how to inspire children to explore the world of art and appreciate the work of other artists, how to combine art with beautiful children’s literature, and the benefits of keeping an art journal.
