Apparently we all have an alter ego; a second self with distinct personality traits that complement or diverge from our real self. What’s yours like?
Come along to make a representation of the other you out of clay.
We’ll learn how other ceramicists bring their alter egos to life, find out how to tap into yours, and make a little action-figure-other-you. Angie will teach you to make a head and attach facial features, limbs, and other characteristics. If you like you can add some colour with a small paint brush and underglazes.
After the class Angie will dry and fire your work, and 3 weeks later bring it back to Cowbell 808 for you to pick up.
Angie is good at making things with clay and gets a thrill out of teaching; every class brings an exotic mix of shapes and forms, anything goes. By day, she works in advertising and by night and early morning you’ll find her potting in her backyard studio. You can see some of her work at Ode Ceramics.
