Multiples have been called the most accessible and reasonably priced contemporary work on the art market, value for money and fun, offering artists a way of selling work without compromising their artistic integrity. Marcel Duchamp, Damien Hirst and Andy Warhol have all made multiples. Now it is your chance. This class will allow you to make a set of multiples in the form of a stampede of wild horses and learn how to handle pen and ink, washes and gouache. They also look great stampeding across a wall!
Artist Emma Kidd will be providing the template horses as a starting point. Adapt a horse template to make your own unique creation, use pen and ink to find your own graphic style, and learn to use various textures and materials.
Emma Kidd is a self-employed exhibiting artist that has a love of the imaginary creature, especially articulated ones. Her other current job is looking after a small person. She goes by benconservato in all places social media. More about Emma here: www.benconservato.com
