Be sure to wear light and comfortable clothing, as heart rates might rise! If you don't wish to dance in bare feet, bring some light sand shoes
The class will start with a short discussion about how dance can be used as a tool for releasing emotion from within. Everyone will set a personal intention for the class. Using a selection of world music, Caz will then guide you to explore a range of body movements individually and in teams, encouraging creativity and “out of the box” thinking in a safe environment, all the while getting the blood pumping and stretching out the body. The class will conclude with a sound meditation.
Caz (Caroline) has been rhythmic her whole life. She uses dancing as a tool for self-expression and for sharing her positive energy with others. Having passionately lived and breathed dancing for over 15 years, Caz has performed and facilitated dance at Sydney Opera House, Subsonic Festival, and various venues and festivals in Sydney and Byron Bay. Caz also facilitates weekend Dance Retreats and dances with buskers. What Caz loves MOST is to let her hair down with unplanned, impromptu dancing in public!
