Be on the safe side and bring an apron or wear old clothes
Furniture restoration is a huge subject. Finishes and techniques are as varied as the woods they are applied to and many of us don’t have the time to spend weeks restoring a chair or table to its original finish. Furniture restoration for the lazy person will show you some quick tools and techniques that we use everyday at The Works Glebe to bring life back to your timber furniture.
Stewart has been working in the furniture and design industry for over 15 years. As a furniture designer and cabinetmaker he has explored many techniques for finishing furniture from traditional to modern. However, since he started managing The Works, Glebe he has started developing skills and techniques in furniture restoration, recycling and reuse.
