Have you heard the term “Biodynamics” and wondered what exactly it’s all about? It’s a method of growing great tasting, nutritious, chemical free food in your own backyard.
In this workshop you will be introduced to the basic principles of Biodynamic farming practices, with simple instruction on how to get started.
The evening will include a step by step guide to making your own Biodynamic compost, how to read a moon planting calendar and a short inspirational film of a working Biodynamic farm in Victoria. There will be Biodynamic wine and cheese to sample as well. This workshop is suited to those with no prior biodynamic experience.
The workshop will be presented by Karl Sharp. Karl is a passionate organic gardener, with a keen interest in bio diversity and is a Rockdale local who has set up verdant gardens in local schools and developed a programme to teach kids how to create a garden using organic and biodynamic principles from scratch.
