What is it all about?
What if instead of focusing on what’s wrong and trying to fix it, we focus on what’s good and build on that? That’s what positive psychology is all about (in particular a focus on strengths).
We’re all naturally good at something, it’s a matter of finding out what that is so that we can tap into our potential.
One study of 19,000 employees showed that identifying and using strengths enhanced performance by up to 36%, whilst focusing on
weaknesses led to a 26.8% decline in performance. Focus on your strengths to change your life!
What will we cover?
Prior to the class, you’ll need to complete a free VIA Character Strengths Survey. Bring the results along to class, where you will discover how you already use your strengths in your daily life (and may not even realise it) and how you can build on what you’ve learned to take things further.
You can expect some homework on developing your strengths, and to begin the process of seeing yourself in a new light!

Who will be teaching?
Diana is a facilitator of happiness through the use of positive psychology and a spiritual perspective. Diana has used positive psychology in her own life for a number of years, and is now in the process of becoming formally qualified with her Diploma of Positive Psychology and Wellbeing.
