Please bring your own Uke, we cannot supply ukes for this class. Please note this is an extended 2 hour class.
This is a special FREE CLASS, kindly sponsored by the Dougherty Centre!
So you have been playing for a little while, are comfortable with the basic major. minor chords in home position on the fretboard , but gee, everything it starting to sound the same? Time to learn those chords and a whole bunch of new ones further up the fretboard! You will need to bring your own uke to this one.
Learn the fool-proof system for playing dominant 7ths, minor 7ths, major and minor chords all the way up the fretboard. This will assist you in remembering the notes of the fret board at the same time. We will use the 12 bar blues and a basic jazz riff that you can apply straight away. If we have time we might even look how you can take this knowledge and play chord melodies.
