What’s it all about?

Ever watched those clowns at the fair and wondered how they do it? Everyone can be a twister! All it takes is a pair of hands and a little courage. After a few squeaks and pops, you’ll be making balloon dogs with your eyes closed!

What will we cover?

The class will start with the basics, covering information about balloons and equipment, how to tie balloons with minimal effort and basic twists. Then, we will start with basic sculptures (i.e., sword, dog(?) & beetle) and finally finish by assembling a table centrepiece, perfect as décor or a gift!

Who will be teaching?

Gladys Teo has been twisting for some time! She has designed and decorated private and public events, taught professional classes and has been involved many a balloon world record attempt. She previously managed her own balloon store in Malaysia before moving to Australia where she currently works at The Balloonery in South Melbourne.
