We'll be fermenting using brine in this class, so it is suitable for vegans and those with lactose-intolerance.
This workshop will cover the whys and hows of fermenting. For some people, adding fermented veggies to your diet can improve gut health, help with bloating, and reduce your waistline. There will be a fermenting demo, and you’ll get the chance to make your own jar of fermented veggies to take home with you.
This is a repeat of the hugely popular class run previously in Bondi. If you attended that class, you’re welcome to come along again, but we’ll be covering the same information.
Why gut health is important, the relationship between the gut and disease, and how fermented vegetables can improve your digestion. We’ll discuss traditional methods of fermenting, using whey vs brine, and then do a hands on demo of how to do it. Then we’ll ferment our own jar of veggies.
