What is it all about?

Are you thinking about picking up your things, quitting your job and restarting a life somewhere new? Or have you already done it by moving to Australia? Then this class is for you – part personal story, part instructional workshop, join us for a ‘how to’ on moving across the world and setting up a new life in a brand new place.
What will we cover?
When you decide to move across the world you discover there is a lot more to move than just your ‘things’. There are family reactions to contend with, friendships to maintain, visits home to manage, and all the emotional and logistical aspects to setting up a new life!
In this workshop we will cover:
– Making new traditions in your adopted homeland
– Technology gone wild. Tips to use technology in your favour.
– Forming new support groups
– Managing visits home – setting expectations and still having a ‘holiday’
– Aging parents
Who will be teaching?
